However, you still want to use the plastic, you have to ensure that bottom of that plastic is left open so that some air can come in it.

Ø  Never use heat: Always make sure that you are not hanging your jacket in an area where the temperature is too high. Apart from this, do not use a heat lamp or clothes dryer in order to speed up the process of drying. The natural oils of the leather can be damaged from the heat. This will result in dryness as well as cracking.

Ø  Wear any neck scarf: Most of the people think that neck scarf is only a fashion statement. But, in can protection your jacket from discoloring. The scarf can absorb the oils from your neck, face and hair which can eventually stain the collar of your leather jacket.
